Formstress was engaged by Brian Perry Civil to construct 9no precast segments to form the lid of an underground foam tank at Auckland Airport.

The 9no curved precast components were manufactured in our panel factory. Stirrups projecting from the top of the precast along with starter bars projecting out the sides required pin point placement accuracy to ensure a snug fit on site. We achieved this with the help of our in-house CNC machining capability by producing CAD generated timber templates. Once installed, the precast lid came in at 55t.
